I received my FDC shirt, and coffee, earlier this week. I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to make some Fire Dept. Coffee, that wouldn't keep me awake all day, since I work nights. I opened the bag, and was greeted with the aroma of fresh ground coffee. I could almost hear Natalie saying, "Well, Doug? What do you think? Smells pretty good, huh?" It was a bit heavy on the smoky side, but nothing I couldn't handle. Two scoops into the French Press, and I heard Fenton screaming, "AAAAAAAAAAAAA! WHY, DOUG? WHYYY???" My brother was going to try it with me, since I didn't want to become hypercaffeinated. Pressing down on the plunger, Josh was saying to me, "C'mon! C'mon! We don't have all day!" It's a French Press. You can't rush perfection, ya know! Adding a bit of creamer...okay, my brother and I like a little coffee with our cream and sugar...and I heard Jason asking me, "Well, whaddya think? Pretty good stuff, huh?" The only stronger coffee I've ever had was way back in Air Force basic training...and we all know that stuff's been around since 1947 (and they won't let you put cream or sugar in it!) Overall, this is pretty damn good coffee. 100/10, would order again (and I definitely will! Maybe I'll get one of the flavored coffees next time ;) )
