Fire Department Coffee gives back to our fellow firefighters who have been injured on the job, mentally or physically, or who are facing other serious health challenges. We created the Fire Dept. Coffee Foundation as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to help support our brothers and sisters in need. The foundation will make sure that money gets to those who need it most.

How fresh is the coffee?

Our coffee is freshly roasted by our team of firefighters, first responders, and coffee experts. Typically, orders are shipped within a few days of being roasted.

Where are the coffee beans sourced?

We roast high-quality coffee beans from around the world. Before we begin our roasting process, all of our beans go through a strict testing and evaluation process. This includes making sure the farms are environmentally and socially responsible.

For optimal freshness, we recommend that you store the coffee in a cool, dry place. Our coffee is nitrogen-flushed when packaged to displace oxygen and ensure maximum freshness. Coffee does not go bad, but if exposed to oxygen, it will oxidize and lose freshness over time. For this reason, we recommend consuming within a month after opening.
Each of our coffees is roasted fresh by our team of firefighters, first responders, and coffee experts, to ensure each cup tastes as fresh and delicious as it should.

    Great for my overnight job.

    FDC Coffee Makes The PixieVerse Magical!

    If you're a fan of bold coffee with a smooth finish, Fire Department Coffee's Shellback Espresso is definitely worth a try.

    Despite being an espresso roast, it's surprisingly balanced, delivering rich flavor without the harsh bitterness that some darker coffees can have. It also didn't mess up my stomach like so many coffees do, which was a welcome reprieve.

    As a musician creating adventures & soundscapes in the PixieVerse, a good cup of coffee often becomes part of the creative process, & this one has been a fantastic companion.

    It's easy to see why Shellback Espresso has become a favorite in the Fire Department Coffee lineup. Plus, knowing the company supports injured firefighters adds an extra layer of appreciation to every cup.

    Shellback Espresso is very good, I didnt know it would be so strong though lol. I bought a variety pack on amazon and I can say as a former volunteer firefighter its great to have coffee made, and sold by firefighters.
