How do you give back to firefighters?

Fire Department Coffee gives back to our fellow firefighters who have been injured on the job, mentally or physically, or who are facing other serious health challenges. We created the Fire Dept. Coffee Foundation as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to help support our brothers and sisters in need. The foundation will make sure that money gets to those who need it most.

How fresh is the coffee?

Our coffee is freshly roasted by our team of firefighters, first responders, and coffee experts. Typically, orders are shipped within a few days of being roasted.

Where are the coffee beans sourced?

We roast high-quality coffee beans from around the world. Before we begin our roasting process, all of our beans go through a strict testing and evaluation process. This includes making sure the farms are environmentally and socially responsible.

We roast high-quality coffee beans from around the world. Before we begin our roasting process, all of our beans go through a strict testing and evaluation process. This includes making sure the farms are environmentally and socially responsible.
Our coffee beans are carefully reviewed by our Q-grader before and after roasting to ensure the best flavor profile. This attention to detail creates the depth, complexity, and noticeable difference in taste that sets our coffee apart.
Each of our coffees is roasted fresh by our team of firefighters, first responders, and coffee experts, to ensure each cup tastes as fresh and delicious as it should.
For optimal freshness, we recommend that you store the coffee in a cool, dry place. Our coffee is nitrogen-flushed when packaged to displace oxygen and ensure maximum freshness. Coffee does not go bad, but if exposed to oxygen, it will oxidize and lose freshness over time. For this reason, we recommend consuming within a month after opening.

    Dang Tasty Stuff!

    I've purchased quite a few different types of coffees from FDC, and have never once been let down. I'm normally a dark roast kind of person, but decided to mix it up a little with a medium roast this time. Once again... amazing coffee. Flavorful, good aroma, and something I would give as gifts to my fellow coffee loving people.

    You can't go wrong with FDC.

    Delicious coffee

    I like trying coffees from small batch or privately owned companies. When I came across Fire Department Coffee, I had to try it. Also, my son was a fireman in San Antonio.
