Looking Out for Our Hometown Crew

Looking Out for Our Hometown Crew

April 20, 2021

Through the Fire Dept. Coffee Foundation, we’ve been blessed to be able to support firefighters and first responders from coast to coast. Now we are honored to provide a much-needed contribution to an amazing and dedicated group of first responders who we know better than anyone.

This month, our foundation is donating $2,000 to support the City of Rockford Firefighter’s Local 413. Many members of our Fire Dept. Coffee team are Rockford firefighters and EMTs and we're grateful to have the opportunity to give back to our local community.

These funds will be available to help the city’s first responders with medical expenses or financial burdens incurred because of service-related injuries or illnesses. It’s our way of thanking our fellow firefighters for always supporting us and for always answering the call for our community.

The City of Rockford Fire Department employs more than 250 people at 11 fire stations. These men and women provide emergency medical services, fire suppression, fire prevention, hazardous materials mitigation, dive rescue, technical rescue and other specialty services. They are also active in volunteering within the community and supporting local charities.

Rockford is our hometown, and it’s a very special place. The City of Rockford Fire Department has been incredible to us. So it’s a true honor for us to offer this contribution that lets all of our friends and colleagues know that the team at Fire Dept. Coffee will always be there for them.

We know how hard these firefighters work day in and day out, and yet they are also actively looking for ways to make their communities better.
