It’s always been the goal at Fire Department Coffee to make it easy and convenient for you to get your daily boost of caffeinated deliciousness. Now we’re taking convenience to the next level.
To get there, we headed to Las Vegas
NACS is the National Association of Convenience Stores. We’ve lost count of how many samples of these new cold brews that we’ve handed out since the show kicked off on Saturday, but the feedback has been amazing.
“Since the first day at NACS we have had a lot of interest from companies to get our Nitro-Charged, Ready-to-Drink Coffees into their stores. We’ve had significant interest in our Ready-to-Drink Coffees and can’t wait to get these into stores for our customers.” said Founder and CEO, Luke Schneider.
We made Nitro-Charged, Ready-to-Drink Coffee available for online ordering in September, and our goal is to have the cans in convenience stores and grocery stores nationwide as soon as possible. Our trip to the NACS Show has been a huge step in that direction.
NACS represents more than 2,100 retail and 1,600 supplier company members doing business across the country and around the world. All of the leaders in the convenience store industry are here, and nearly all of the top brands that you find in your favorite stores are represented, too.
It’s exciting to take Fire Dept. Coffee into this new arena. We’re going up against some monstrous competition, but we’re ready to grab the bull by the horns and establish ourselves as staples in the convenience store market.
Our ready-to-drink cold brew options include Nitro-Charged Latte and Nitro-Charged Shellback Espresso, plus two Spirit-Infused options with Nitro Vanilla Bean Bourbon and Nitro Irish Coffee. The Spirit Infused selections represent a unique concept within the convenience store world, a non-alcoholic cold brew that combines rich coffee tastes with the best qualities of premium spirits.
The cold brews come in 7-ounce cans with our signature design and FDC logo prominently displayed. Each can is packed with the same rich, smooth taste you’ve come to expect in our traditional roasts. Yet they’re perfect to keep in the fridge and grab when you’re on the go.
It’s our first visit to the NACS Show, and it’s been an incredible experience. We’ve had amazing conversations with key people throughout the industry. We’ve learned a lot about the convenience store market and what it will take for us to succeed.
We’ve been energized to see so many people genuinely excited about Fire Dept. Coffee bringing cold brews to convenience stores. Some are already familiar with our brand and our coffee. Others are learning about us for the first time.
Everyone has instantly connected with our story — a small but fast-growing veteran-owned business dedicated to providing high-quality coffee to fuel first responders, hardworking professionals and coffee lovers everywhere.
They’ve also expressed their admiration for our mission to use our coffee to support ill or injured first responders.
The NACS Show has been an incredible opportunity to share our story and samples of our coffee. Each new visitor to our booth has left us further convinced that we’re on the right path.
