Victor Campa knows all about service.
He’s a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served in the infantry from 2011 to 2015. During his time in the Corps, he deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq, where he served at the Baghdad Embassy.
Since 2016, he’s been a member of the Ennis Fire Department in Texas, where he’s currently a Driver/Paramedic. Campa has been a hero for a long time.
That is why we chose to honor him as our Fire Dept. Coffee Community Hero at the Texas NHRA Fall Nationals because he goes above and beyond — far beyond.
In September, Campa joined the Texas Brotherhood Ride and pedaled his bicycle more than 600 miles across the state as a tribute to the sacrifice of those first responders and their families.
Campa attended Navarro College in Waxahachie for his firefighter, paramedic, and peace officer education. And he has been an absolute standout on the job. In 2023, Victor received the Ennis Fire Department Firefighter of the Year Award.
Yet even as he celebrated that honor, he’s chosen to honor others.
He makes us proud, and so we were thrilled for the opportunity to celebrate him and to have him at the race along with his wife of nine years and their two sons.
The Texas Brotherhood Ride which was founded in 2014 continues the tradition of Honor, Dedication and Pride that is inspired by The Brotherhood Ride based in Naples, FL.
Since 2008, the organization has honored the memory and sacrifice of over 500 firefighters, law enforcement officers and emergency medical personnel.
Because of people like Campa and his fellow riders, those heroes will never be forgotten.
