    The Leadership Development Tool the Fire Service Has Been Missing

    I bought the Jason Patton sticker expecting a sticker. What I received was mentorship.

    Every morning, I look upon Jason’s tiny illustrated face and ask myself the important questions: Am I giving enough today? Am I serving others? Could this situation be improved by yelling “FIRE DEPARTMENT CHRONICLES!” and making an unnecessarily dramatic entrance?

    Since applying this sticker, my leadership abilities have increased approximately 37%, morale has improved, coffee tastes better, and I have developed the inexplicable urge to explain everything happening in the firehouse directly to an imaginary camera.

    Scientists may claim correlation does not equal causation. Those scientists clearly do not own this sticker.

    The craftsmanship is excellent. The colors look great. It sticks to things with the kind of unwavering commitment I wish some people brought to shift change.

    Most importantly, whenever the fire service becomes complicated, frustrating, or entirely too serious, one glance reminds me of an important truth: somewhere out there, Jason Patton is probably turning the exact same nonsense into a video.

    This isn't merely a sticker.

    It's a tiny adhesive life coach.

    5/5. Would absolutely trust it to provide command presence at a dumpster fire.
