Coffee of the Month Club: Bella Vista Coffee

July 06, 2020

Introducing Bella Vista Coffee, the Chiapas Mayan Harvest from Mexico SHG, the exclusive coffee for July 2020 to Coffee of the Month Club members.

Originating in the Chiapas region of Mexico, this unforgettable roast — known as Chiapas Mayan Harvest Mexico SHG (Strictly High Grown) — is a testament to the extraordinary coffee culture of the region.

Chiapas is the birthplace of Rosalba Cifuentes, the founder of Mayan Harvest. Her organization is primarily staffed by women farmers and is dedicated to working with local producers to improve enhance the harvesting and processing of these exceptional coffee beans. It has also earned a reputation for taking outstanding care of the land and the Mayan Harvest employees.

When you drink Bella Vista Coffee, you’ll know you’re supporting an amazing group of women and coffee aficionados. You’ll also savor every sip. The roast has a medium acidity, a silky body and a bright sweetness. The beans are fully washed and patio- and solar-dried at 1,700 meters of elevation. Varietals include Bourbon, Catimor, Caturra and Typica. And you’ll taste flavors of caramel, honey and red apple.

At Fire Department Coffee, we are dedicated to serving coffees that are socially and environmentally sourced and only the best quality that you won't find in grocery stores. Our coffee is roasted to order and delivered fast and fresh. And as always at Fire Department Coffee, 10% of the net proceeds goes to help ill and injured first responders.

If you haven't joined the club yet, what are you waiting for? Enjoy exclusive coffee from around the world.
