Introducing Ethiopia Natural Kembata, the exclusive coffee for November 2020 to Coffee of the Month Club members.
The Durame Village of Kembata, Ethiopia, sits 2,100 meters above sea level, just east of the capital, Adis Ababa. With extremely fertile soil, it’s ideal for growing exceptional coffee beans. Each year, from November to January, Ethiopian heirloom varietals are harvested to create Ethiopia Natural Kembata.
The farmers have introduced a 36- to 48-hour fermentation process inside a wet mill, prior to drying the beans under the sun in raised beds. The cherries dry for 15 to 21 days before they are ready. When you pour your first Ethiopia Natural Kembata, you’ll discover a complex cup with notes of blackberry, dark chocolate and jam.
At Fire Department Coffee, we are dedicated to serving coffees that are socially and environmentally sourced and only the best quality that you won't find in grocery stores. Our coffee is roasted to order and delivered fast and fresh. And as always at Fire Department Coffee, 10% of net proceeds goes to help ill and injured first responders.
If you haven't joined the club yet, what are you waiting for? Enjoy exclusive coffee from around the world.
