This month’s magical blend arrives mysteriously in the dark of night on a long but surprisingly fast journey from one of the globe’s most distinctive, yet little-known coffee-growing regions: the North Pole.
Every cup warms your soul from within. Every sip rewards you with sweet tastes of candy cane and gumdrops, evoking memories of Christmas mornings from years long past. You’ll note a joyful acidity, a jolly body and a cheerful sweetness reminiscent of a bowl full of jelly.
Miraculously growing 2,743 meters in the middle of the Arctic Ocean, these richly flavored beans are harvested by a dedicated union of small farmers. Very small. They’re harvested by elves.
Varietals include Douglas fir, poinsettia and pear tree. The beans are snow-hauled by reindeer and dried by the Northern lights. North Pole Coffee is exported each year in the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning, along for the ride as the leader of the International Elves Union makes his way to New York City to participate in an annual parade.
