Coffee of the Month Club: Organic Timor Coffee

Coffee of the Month Club: Organic Timor Coffee

August 28, 2020

Introducing Organic Timor Fair Trade coffee, the exclusive coffee for September 2020 to Coffee of the Month Club members.

From East Timor, Indonesia, this delicious coffee is a product of Cooperativa Cafe Timor, which exclusively sources its beans from small farms of less than 2.5 acres. Originally planted 400 years ago by Portuguese colonists, the coffee crop has evolved over time into a new hybrid varietal known as Hibrido de Timor. In the Organic Timor Fair Trade coffee, Hibrido de Timor is blended with the Bourbon varietal.

The beans are fully washed and then patio and solar dried at 1,600 meters of elevation. The first thing you’ll notice is the appealing sweetness, low acidity and rich body of this delicious roast. You’ll enjoy notes of brown sugar, cane sugar and cherry in each cup.

At Fire Department Coffee, we are dedicated to serving coffees that are socially and environmentally sourced and only the best quality that you won't find in grocery stores. Our coffee is roasted to order and delivered fast and fresh. And as always at Fire Department Coffee, 10% of the net proceeds goes to help ill and injured first responders.

If you haven't joined the club yet, what are you waiting for? Enjoy exclusive coffee from around the world.
