Coffee of the Month Club: Blue Christmas Coffee, Made with Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee

Coffee of the Month Club: Blue Christmas Coffee, Made with Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee

December 01, 2020

Introducing the Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend that we like to call “Blue Christmas” the exclusive coffee for December 2020 to Coffee of the Month Club members.

As winter settles in and the temperature drops, warm yourself with this memorable seasonable blend highlighted by the distinct taste of the prestigious Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. A historic icon of coffee production on the island, Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee originates from the Clydesdale Estate, founded in the 1700s. In 1953, the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica granted special status to Blue Mountain coffee, establishing a standard all exported coffee must meet to earn the Jamaican Blue Mountain mark.

Jamaican Mountains

Blue Christmas coffee adds the rich tastes of Colombian, Honduran and Flores beans with the distinct taste of Jamaican Blue Mountain beans to create an exceptional coffee. The beans are washed and sun-dried at an elevation of 1,000 to 1,500 meters.

It’s a full-bodied coffee with balanced acidity and a mellow sweetness, made from varietals including Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, Pacas, Timor Hybrids & Typica. When you pour your first cup, you’ll notice a taste that is floral and nutty with distinct notes of chocolate and cherry.

Jamaican Coffee Beans
